Escogido Campeón!

Yesterday, I had the awesome opportunity of attending the Championship baseball game between Leones del Escogido and Gigantes del Cibao in the Dominican Republic. I noticed that the overall enthusiasm and energy of the fans was similar to the hardcore soccer fans found throughout Europe. The stadium was completely packed with young children, screaming fans and beautiful women. Despite the actual game lacking any jaw-clenching moments, the true energy and excitement happened in the crowds. Heading to my first retreat in the Dr later. I love moments like this.
